Software

Processing the roughly hundred thousand images taken during a typical WET campaign requires a specialized pipeline, capable of handling the nuances of the over 25 WET observatories with minimal human interaction. Currently the WET pipeline consists of two distinct software packages: 1) Maestro, which calibrates the raw images and extracts the brightness of the observed stars and 2) WQED, which applies BJED correction and provides tools for the manipulation of light curves. Other tools developed for the analysis of White Dwarfs and other variable targets have also been developed within the collaboration.
